Billing & Fees

We aim to be clear and upfront about costs. The fee for your appointment depends on the type of session and how it is funded

MEDICARE (with a Mental Health Treatment Plan)

With a referral and a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you can claim a Medicare rebate for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year.

• Out-of-pocket (gap) cost: $60 per session.
• Centrelink concession-card holders are bulk-billed — no out-of-pocket cost.

OTHER FUNDING

• NDIS covered under a service agreement.
• Workers Compensation & CTP (motor accident) — covered once your insurer approves the sessions.
• Veterans (DVA) — covered for eligible veterans and family members.
• Victims Compensation — limited treatment available for victims of crime.
• Marital & Family Therapy (and other private, non-Medicare sessions) — $210 per hour.
• Medico-legal reports — funded separately; not covered by Medicare. (We are unable to provide reports for the disability pension.)

PAYMENT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

Payment is required at the time of your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice; late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee of $60 as the time has been reserved for you.

A valid Medicare card and a current doctor’s referral are all you need to use the Medicare service. Your GP will spend some time with you to complete the assessment that checks your eligibility.
